On November 5, 2011, Dodie uploaded her fifth overall video and her second original song. As of now, the video has clocked in at over 240,000 views as of June 7, 2019. She performs this song with her younger sister Hedy. This is the second video that Hedy is shown in.

Story

From what the lyrics to the general key and to the mood change of this song, one can come to the conclusion that this song tells the story about a girl, presumably Dodie, writing a song. Writing a song can be rather tough at times, and that's what Dodie seems to be going through as she sings. She talks about how at first it can go smoothly, but then it can be a bit hard to come up with other elements, such as in this case, coming up with the lyrics. This instance thus left her writing, well, a song about a song. ;)
